RADIANA – S/T

RadianaIt seems like stand-on-their-own pop-rock records come along with the frequency of Halley’s Comet. So, it must be 76 years since the last one, ’cause here it is.

Sweet, female vocals with a hint of coolness and a nice guitar edge behind it. Thirteen tracks of pop-rock with “catchy” glued all over it. Imagine a slightly moodier, gothically enhanced Primatives. “Something Like Penguins” could be a lost Smiths track. A nice blend of melodic shimmer and six-string edge. It works very well.
