On September 25, 2012, Matador Records will release a new 12-inch EP by Yo La Tengo. Entitled Stupid Things, the EP will contain the title track, a remix of the same track (by EYE of Boredoms), and an instrumental track.

The band will also be releasing a new full-length album in January of 2013, which will contain a different version of “Stupid Things” than that which will be released on the EP. It will be Yo La Tengo’s first album since 2009′s Popular Songs.  (via CoS, P4k)
