Listen: Public Enemy “Catch the Thrown”
While speaking with UK publication The Times , Chuck D of Public Enemy explained his dislike of “Watch The Throne,” the collaborative project of Jay-Z and Kanye West: “Hip-hop celebrates those who wanna make a killing instead of a living. I like those guys, but they make me laugh sometimes because I don’t get who they’re here for, other than themselves.”
“Catch the Thrown,” which you can hear below, is off Most of My Heroes Still Don’t Appear on No Stamp. PE are releasing two albums in 2012 to celebrate their 25th anniversary; the second, titled The Evil Empire of Everything, is slated for a fall release.
