Patterson Hood of Drive-By Truckers will release his solo album Heat Lightning Rumbles in the Distance on September 10, 2012. Recorded at Chase Park Transduction in Athens, Georgia, and produced by David Barbe and Hood himself, the album will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital download.
