Watch: “The Daily Show’s” Jon Stewart on the Senate’s Coddling Of JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon
JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon had to appear before the Senate Banking Committee this week after his company lost between $3 billion and $8 billion in a bad trade. How did the Senate handle the situation?
“As bad as the banks and bankers may have been, the one thing that the senators wanted to remind everyone is: government is worse!” explains Jon Stewart.
“It must be fun to be a Republican senator sometimes. You get the fun of breaking shit and the joy of complaining that the shit you just broke doesn’t work.”
