Premier: Rachel Goodrich – Folsom Prison Blues
Inspired by early 1960s pop and mixing in a dose of Tobacco-esque beats and samples, Rachel Goodrich self-titled album came out at the end of February, produced by Grammy-winner Greg Wells (Timbaland, Weezer, Rufus Wainwright, etc). Rachel has recently cooked up something new — a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues.” Far from a straight cover, Rachel puts her own personal stamp on the song, and you can download it for free below.
