On April 26, Of Montreal will be releasing a new EP called thecontrollersphere on Polyvinyl Records.  The EP consists of five tracks come from the same sessions that produced last year’s False Priest, and Polyvinyl has made the first track, “Black Lion Massacre,” available for free download.

April 26 will also see the release (via Polyvinyl) of What’s Weird?, an art book by David Barnes, brother of Of Montreal’s Kevin Barnes and the creator of the band’s album artwork. The book features 128 pages of his paintings and illustrations and comes with a download code for audio commentary. Barnes will sign all 250 copies of the limited edition hardcover version of the book and include a unique hand-drawn sketch.
