LAST LUNGS – Look at That Old Grizzly Bear

Look At That Old Grizzly Be LAST LUNGS Look at That Old Grizzly BearLook at That Old Grizzly Bear feels like a novel where you can’t be quite sure who lost track of the plot: the reader or the author. The whole album is repetitive with the three parts of “Inglend” being primary offenders with the same chords and same progressions over more than 10 minutes of the album. This repetition kills what are otherwise well built and well played instrumentals. The whole mellow groove of the album with the repetition from song to song and within each song itself leads to an almost pointless exercise in listening. Seriously. This album is elevator music.

What sort of name is Garrett, you have no right to review albums with that shit name.

Paul has a point. Unfortunately, it’s on his head. (yuk-yuk!)
