Aussie garage rockers The Eddy Current Suppression Ring take the best of the sound of groups like The Stooges and The Pagans, add in the influence of The Fall, and make an incredible piece of power rock. The vocals are shouted across songs that simply explode with energy. Opening track “Get Up Morning” is the best piece of garage rock in the past decade. There is simply nothing wrong with this album. It isn’t for music snobs, but it is music for the people. It is accessible garage rock that never goes wrong. It is simply a fantastic album in every sense of the word.
