The Catalyst – I Hate The Future

The Catalyst “I Hate The Future” from “Swallow Your Teeth” LP/CD “I Hate The Future” is the opening track from the new full length album, Swallow Your Teeth from Richmond, Virginia’s The Catalyst. Their first full length album is the end of a long road – after seven long years, numerous mind-bending demos, EPs and splits, and a litany of tours criss-crossing the United States and Europe. Still channeling a wide range of hardcore, punk, grunge, noise rock, and sludge influences and not afraid to show their love for Nirvana, Melvins, The Jesus Lizard, and most of the AmRep back catalog, Swallow Your Teeth displays the band’s creative prowess and power fully matured and realized. Swallow Your Teeth was recorded and mixed in May 2009 by Steve Roche at Permanent Hearing Damage in Philadelphia, PA and mastered by Carl Saff. The album is out now on The Perpetual Motion Machine (US) and Sons Of Vesta Records (Europe).
