Lou Barlow – Gravitate

Former Dinosaur Jr. member Lou Barlow began the recording process of his new solo album Goodnight Unknown with the goal of making this album more aggressive and denser in the style of his earlier Sebadoh recordings. Barlow turned to Dale Crover of The Melvins to play the drums on six songs, and producer Andrew “Mudrock” Murdock, known for his work with Godsmack and Avenged Sevenfold.

Goodnight Unknown will be released in October on Merge Records. Lou will tour extensively opening for Dinosaur Jr. with his band The Missingmen. The Missingmen are Tom Watson and Raul Morales, who are perhaps best known as Mike Watt’s backing band.
