adjudgment humanfallout 150x150 ADJUDGEMENT Human FalloutThese Krauts are sour! Maybe that’s being glib, but these Germans are pissed off from anything to everything; from fashion punks to prison privatization, the sentiments of anger and frustration are loud and clear on this disc. These guys have wide shoulders for their rage and even try to police their scene, spittin’ out rhymes against mosh violence on “Pit Fight Sucker.” In other words, this band is nothing new, despite being in vogue in the German hardcore scene. The music is good and the drummer sets a furious pace, but I’ve already heard the last Donnybrook album, so…I wanted to like this disc and didn’t. The vocals and lyrics are just such cookie-cutter nonsense; the government + capitalism = bad, scene + newjacks = deterioration, mosh + fights = violence, job + white collar = no personal integrity/sellout…if there’s any I missed, let me know. It’s like saying you don’t wear brand clothing because your shoes are NoLogo and you have a social conscience because you read Naomi Klein. It’s fuckin’ bullshit and so is this band.
