THE ADORED – A New Language

theadoredanewlanguage 150x150 THE ADORED A New LanguageThis is more Mod than your Momma on her Vespa, cruisin’ for boys on your Dad’s bowling night. This is pure fun, kid. The guitars and vocals and harmonies…the whole production and sound is clean and crisp like a newly washed shirt. Think along the lines of the Chords for the musical comparison. And they sound pretty British, too. Bouncy, sharp, upbeat pop with hooks so frappin’ big you can hang beef off ‘em. Many times a band gets a sound for a song or two. And then that “sound” morphs into “all our tunes sound the same and make you wanna cut off your own head.” I looked up during listening to this and realized I was up to track 11 and wasn’t suffering from Same Old Same Old disease. Nice. This is a real good time. But they’re from LA? Parkas in Los Angeles?
